Google Page Rank

PageRankTM (PR)

is a numeric value that represents how important a website is online. Google becomes the idea that when a web site places a link (link) to another, is in fact a vote for the latter.

The more votes has a page will be considered more important by Google. Moreover, the importance of the page that casts the vote also determines the weight of this vote. In this way, Google calculates the importance of a page thanks to the votes received, taking into account the importance of each page that casts the vote.

PageRankTM (developed by the founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin)is the way Google decides the importance of a page. It is a valuable data because it is one of the factors that determine the position will have a page within the search results. It is not the only factor that Google uses to rank pages, but it is one of the most important.

Keep in mind that not all the links are taken into account by Google. For example, Google filters out and discards the links of pages devoted exclusively to put links (called 'link farms').

In addition, Google admits that a page can not control the links that point to it, but you can check the links page to other pages in place. Therefore, links to a page can not harm it, but it links a page to place penalized sites may be harmful to your PageRankTM.

If a site has PR0, it is usually a site penalized, and may not be intelligent to put a link to her.

One way to know a page is PageRankTM download it the Google search bar (only available for MS IExplorer). Bar appears in the one shown in green PageRankTM value on a scale of 0 to 10. PR10 websites are Yahoo, Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia, and Google. You have a full list of PR10 sites.

Algorithm
The algorithm 'PageRankTM' was patented in the United States on 8 January 1998 by Larry Page. The original title is "Method for node ranking in a linked database ', and was assigned patent number 6,285,999.

PageRank is a probability distribution used to represent the likelihood that a person randomly clicking on links will arrive at any particular page. PageRank can be calculated for collections of documents of any size. It is assumed in several research papers that the distribution is evenly divided among all documents in the collection at the beginning of the computational process. The PageRank computations require several passes, called "iterations", through the collection to adjust approximate PageRank values to more closely reflect the theoretical true value.

A probability is expressed as a numeric value between 0 and 1. A 0.5 probability is commonly expressed as a "50% chance" of something happening. Hence, a PageRank of 0.5 means there is a 50% chance that a person clicking on a random link will be directed to the document with the 0.5 PageRank.

SERP Rank

The Search engine results page (SERP) is the actual result returned by a search engine in response to a keyword query. The SERP consists of a list of links to web pages with associated text snippets. The SERP rank of a web page refers to the placement of the corresponding link on the SERP, where higher placement means higher SERP rank. The SERP rank of a web page is not only a function of its PageRank, but depends on a relatively large and continuously adjusted set of factors (over 200), commonly referred to by internet marketers as "Google Love".Search engine optimization (SEO) is aimed at achieving the highest possible SERP rank for a website or a set of web pages

Search Engine Marketing

Affiliate Marketing Meaning

Affiliate marketing is better known in Spanish as affiliate programs and comes from the English "affiliate marketing" (or programs). In that language there are other terms used in the same sense: "marketing associate (or programs)," reseller programs "," referral programs "," partnership programs "," bounty programs "," revenue-sharing Programs "" ambassador programs

Perhaps the simplest way to explain affiliate marketing is that it is a way of making money online whereby you as a publisher are rewarded for helping a business by promoting their product, service or site.

There are a number of forms of these types of promotions but in most cases they involve you as a publisher earning a commission when someone follows a link on your blog to another site where they then buy something.

Other variations on this are where you earn an amount for referring a visitor who takes some kind of action - for example when they sign up for something and give an email address, where they complete a survey, where they leave a name and address etc.

Commissions are often a percentage of a sale but can also be a fixed amount per conversion. Conversions are generally tracked when the publisher (you) uses a link with a code only being used by you embedded into it that enables the advertiser to track where conversions come from (usually by cookies). Other times an advertiser might give a publisher a 'coupon code' for their readers to use that helps to track conversions.

It is important not to confuse marketing with affiliate marketing (MLM), which usually created a pyramid structure based more on the payment of the membership to enter, and less on the sale of a product or service. Affiliate programs generally do not charge to members.

Well, specifically ...
Affiliate marketing means that a company or individual, merchant, has implemented an automated way for a person-affiliate-receive commissions for promoting their products or services.

The leading online bookstore in the world, Amazon.com, was the first company to heavily promoted affiliate marketing on the Internet. Perhaps you have come across a banner on Amazon.com ...
Most web surfers have seen countless ads like these in all kinds of Web sites. Typically they are advertising banners that say "Click here" (for the benefit of being promoted), but More and more often, they are using text-based links and usually with better results.

There are also affiliate marketing notices on bulletin boards, e-mail signatures, articles, even in print advertising.

... Must be something very good at this!

Affiliate marketing allows the merchant to pay only for the people who are actually doing what it wants (by clicking a link, the sight of a banner, filling out a web form, the purchase of a product)

This is the quintessential focused marketing ... Getting the right people, people ready to buy, and precisely when they are thinking about it!
Moreover, for the member, this is-perhaps-the fastest way to start making money online ...

If you do not have much time to devote to the business online, you can concentrate on advertising to other and even having to produce (and store or send) a product or service yourself.

There are entire Web sites dedicated to act as mechanisms of prevention for bids for a company affiliated

Google Analytics is "the science of analysis." Google Analytics provides the means to analyze web site data. However, somewhere along the line, some users and research providers appear to have focused more on data and less on analysis. In recent months Google has relaunched three powerful tools of analysis: intelligence, in-page Order of Google Analytics and weighted.

The three tools to aid data analysis reports provide deeper than mere percentages, which often hide important information, for what these new updates to Google Analytics makes point to receive the same. The key information that allows these tools allow people to know how they interact with your website and how to use this information to improve your website in increasing conversions.

Let's look at three tools in a little more detail.

1. Intelligence Analysis

In the New York ad tech, Google announced its major contributors, a very useful update to the intelligence reports.

Intelligence Analytics can provide automatic alerts when there are significant changes in data patterns indicative of their site during periods daily, weekly and monthly.

Google has launched some new features in the intelligence reports to be useful: Top contributors for personalized alerts and SMS alerts and email. When you set a custom alert to capture significant changes in an account, you can now see a breakdown of the individual segments are the most likely instigators of the changes in traffic. For example, in the following screenshot we can see that the June 4 GoogleStore visits rose to 510%. This alert is triggered because we set a custom alert for "visits increased by 10%."

2. In-page analysis

To make statistical information with web pages, including information about where visitors to the page you click, in-page of Google Analytics makes it much easier to gain knowledge in the design of your website usability.

3. Weighted Order

This is a great step forward for Google Analytics, and that show what are the web site data that need to be weighed. For example, a site with 10,000 visits and a high value is more important for you to a page that has had ten hits, but has the lowest percentage of dropouts in general (low bounce rates are good). If you lower the bounce rate by 1% with 10,000 page views, you will experience a difference in your site. If you focus on fixing the page to ten visits, he has been a long time for very little reward.

The weighted Order appears when you click on "Bounce in most reports. When you enable weighted Order applies an algorithm that takes into account the number of visits to each page, so that at the forefront of the articles with the most visits and higher dropout rates

Using Google Webmaster Tools

The Google Webmaster Tools are a set of utilities that owners have a website or blog to verify certain aspects related to Google.

First of all, to use our blog we must verify, By putting code or uploading a file to our server. Once verified you can access the control panel of your domain.

There you will find 4 different types of utilities: Information site, your Web site, Diagnostics and Labs, Let's dissect:

Site Information

First, we can handle Sitemaps, Some files. Xml that tell Google all the pages to include and other data such as the crawl.
If we use WordPress as a plugin must install Google XML Sitemaps, Have generated the sitemap and included in this control panel. Typically the address is www.nuestrodominio.com / sitemap.xml, so we will include it and Google will review.

In Crawler Access has passed we will see when the Google robot through our website and see if you read that correctly our robots.txt file, a text file which indicate which pages should not be indexed. Also in this section can delete a specific URL.
Site Links is a section where you can check if Google has generated links site (Sitelinks) on our website, which will check for the name of our blog to Google, Sure that you have ever seen.

There is no magic formula to obtain links from sites, but it seems to help have many links to specific parts of our blog (including links generated site) and as always a good design, accessible to the robot of Google.

If at any time we change our blog site it can indicate to Google Change Address, Using 301 redirects and taking great touch, although grateful to have such tools.

Finally, Settings we can handle minor parameters such as geographic targeting (Where do visitors come mostly?), The preferred domain (With WWW or without WWW?) Or the frequency of tracking.

In Crawl errors Google will indicate errors that have been encountered, such as carrying things linked to missing pages (error 404), restricted content through our robots.txt ... it never hurts to review this area to avoid possible penalties for things we may have committed inadvertently.
Crawl stats gives us the parameters that Google is moving in our blog: in some cases can be high and in particular we are interested in the "download time" to see the speed of our site, if it is something that we can also see below with another tool.
Are we wrong to duplicate content? HTML Tips us say, can often happen with static content such as pages that duplicate meta tags inadvertently "description", Google will show the number here to be dealt with as soon as possible.

Labs

As virtually any Google tool Webmaster tools also have experimental features, Which in this case are three:

First Browse as Googlebot Google will show us how our site is in a similar way if we disable the CSS on our blog. Should check these things to see if maybe some interesting content Google can not track it (flash content, for example).
